Duo Velox (Kaitlyn Neufeld, clarinet; Aaron Burr, saxophone), are leading a consortium to commission a new duo for Bb Clarinet and Alto Saxophone! We invite you to join them in bringing to life this new composition!

our intent is to bring to life a work that is engaging and accessible to all audiences while being challenging and enjoyable for the performers.

As consortium heads, Duo Velox will be giving the official world premiere of this work at the 2026 North American Saxophone Alliance Convention, and will record the official world premiere recording. Consortium members will have exclusive performance rights of the work through January 2027, allowing them to present their performances as premieres. Duo Velox invites you to join in this consortium to bring this new work to life!

Work completed and delivered: September 2025 (Gold Premier Level) or January 2026 (Silver Premier or Student Premier Level)
